Blue Iris status - Cameras - Pixels showing 4.1mp shouldnt that be 12mp?

Hi there

Blue Iris status - Cameras - Pixels showing 4.1mp shouldn't that be 12mp if I have 12mp cameras?
fps is 15
bitrate is around 1982 kB/s

Maybe Blue Iris is streaming the lower quality substream?
The live view picture looks normal but the recordings are a bit stretched out and lower quality then live view.
Also these are 12MP Fisheye cameras from Hikvision

The sub would never be 4mp
Is it showing up as a single camera or multiple cams

The dewarped image may be 4mp....send the stream to vlc and check...and/or disable the on camera dewarping and check..

forgive my ignorance... I did figure out how to open a stream in vlc but not sure what to make of the information

looks like its pulling a 9mp stream...is vlc displaying a dewarped steam?

The dewarped image may be 4mp....send the stream to vlc and check...and/or disable the on camera dewarping and check..

So no change if I switch to non pano (fisheye) still reports 4.1MP

simply multiply the horizontal and vertical resolution

Hmmm I have an Area of Interest set at 3056*1344... that is almost exactly 4.1MP
Wonder if that is the cause

yes of course...when you set aoi that limits the stream that BI processes and uses...
