Blue Iris not triggering on AI confirmation

For some reason Blue Iris is not triggering on all AI identified objects.

Saving the .dat AI data and opening the clip it shows plenty of detected frames but BI still marks the alert as "Nothing found" and does not save the recording nor tag it as AI confirmed.

What's going on?

The strange thing is that it works sometimes, so I don't know whats going on.

Here's my camera settings:

If you open up the CodeProject dashboard on a browser what does it show? Maybe you need to restart CodeProject.

CodeProject works just fine, i can see in the dashboard that it detects the car in multiple frames. BI gets all that car info as well but decides to do nothing, Tried downgrading to latest stable version, but still the same behavior. I tried disabling the Static object option just to see that it didn't interfere with the detection somehow.

Mine does that as well and a restart of CodeProject fixes it....just sayin....

If it is just one camera, then I would delete the camera in BI and reinstall the camera from scratch.

Plenty of threads where the camera file gets wonky in BI and deleting and re-adding fixes it.

Did a complete system restart and created a new camera in BI with the same stream (not a clone) temporary to see if detects/triggers any better.

At least one good thing with this issue is that i found i had the default AI object detection enabled in the base AI settings in parallel with the ipcamtalk custom model, AI is a lot snappier when it's not processing all images an extra time...

Something is wrong in BI, it even treats the objects as static after the initial detection, but fails to fire the alert on the camera for the exact same object. Creating a completely new camera had no effect, still a 30% success-rate in firing the Alert WHEN objects are already detected. Downgrading BI to 6.9.3.x to see if there's a difference.

I found the solution/issue reading BI documentation.

This little symbol indicates that the detected object did not overlap with an area of motion detected by BI at the same time, and is automatically disregarded.

Disabling object detection in the Motion sensor settings in the trigger tab disables the check against motion area for the AI alert check.
