BIT feature request: Watchdog stunnel service monitor

Would it make sense and be feasible to add a stunnel service monitor to BIT's Watchdog toolset?

I use stunnel with my Bl machine and the service normally runs at system startup. However, once and a while there's a hiccup and it doesn't start so I have to remote into the machine and start it so that I can connect to BI remotely.

It'd be nice to have a a FPS rate display in the overlay

Already available... just type ‘%f fps’ in a macro.

sweet.. I suppose if I use "Direct-to-disk" the overlay won't be added to the recording, right?

Correct... note however that overlays are captured in snapshots, which can be taken when the cam is triggered and scheduled via the event schedule... snapshots appear in the BI cliplist.

If BI or BIT ever added a watchdog for fps, perhaps in addition to logging the event, they could include an option to take a snapshot of the affected cams as well.

Good to know. I never noticed the overlays in the offline alert snapshots.
