BI port Forwarding keeps disappearing

I used the UPnP wizard in BI to set up the port forwarding.

Every time I install the next BI update though, it vanishes and I have to do it again.

Is this normal?

It sometimes just vanishes even without the update...maybe some other process is auto removing the UPnP port forward?
 
disable uPNP and set them up manually if you must; but you should take a look at my: VPN Primer for Noobs

Thanks again. I will def read through that post and try to figure out the VPN thing...Reading up on UPnP last night and it sounds like a really bad idea maybe....not that anyone wants to break in and watch my cats.
 
they wont care about your cats, they want to turn all your network devices into remote drones for the armies of the internet.. When Playstation network goes down over XMas break its because some shithead kids used a million hacked computers to flood Sony's servers.
