BI ONVIF Supported Versions - Speco Technologies Reference

Looking to install Speco Technologies cameras and notice they vary on ONVIF technology support, and I have tried to determine what ONVIF technologies BI supports or requires. Does anyone know or does it even matter just as long as ONVIF is supported by the camera?
 
As long as the cameras are not in a proprietary system and are ONVIF then they should be fine.
