Version: Release 4.3.0.10 x64
OS: Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard
CPU: 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5560 @ 2.80GHz [33%]
RAM: 70.8M (32GB avaialble)
Storage: Raid 5 (5x300 GB 10k)
Network: 2x1 Gbps teamed network cards
Switch: Gigabit Cisco POE 3760G

Cameras:
Reolink 410 cameras

FPS is set to 15 on the camera setting's page and on BI Camera settings.

During the day I don't have issues with video clips.

Once IR kicks in at night, FPS according to BI drops to 7.5 to 8. Video clips recorded during this time, when played back look as if they are sped up.
Videos recorded at night also play for a few seconds and then freeze up and then continue playing.

If I set my camera to 6 FPS and BI to 6 FPS, night recording works correctly.

At some point this did not used to be a problem, the issue is I do not recall the build number which worked for me.

Latest build breaks my setup with the message "No Signal" until I restart my cameras.

Any questions or comments is appreciated.

uncheck use rtsp/stream timecode in the video>configuration settings in BI.

uncheck use rtsp/stream timecode in the video>configuration settings in BI.

That was Ken's suggestion on 1/28/16, I tried it and it didn't solve my issue.

I just changed the settings right now, and will test once it gets dark.

Thank you for your quick response.

Update:
Looks like that did the trick, the only thing I did differently now than on 1/28/16 is; I restarted the cameras after changing the settings on BI.

Thanks again.

I now have video ghosting:

Did not have this issue with "use rtsp/stream timecode" checked.

Is there another setting I need to be looking at now?

Any input is appreciated.

You need to match the cameras iframe interval to the fps. Problem is the reolink does not have this setting. I would email support and see what he says.

I have four Reolink rcl-410's running and using BI. I do not have the ghosting, but, my night vision is just as you describe. Have been afraid to make any changes as I would rather have the jerky night vision than bad ghosting during the day. :P

I originally had it the way you describe, jerky during night and good during the day.
Do you have them at their max resolution and what bit rate ?
Firmware version?
BI Version ?

Grr... nothing like posting and then hitting the wrong button and loosing it all. The reason for only 1080p is that I am running BI on my main PC (dual monitors) and that is all the pc can handle while doing other things at the same time. Running a total of 6 cams.

1080p
15 fps
5120 bit rate
708_16011900 FWV
BI version 4.3.0.15 x64

Thanks for the info, I will probably end up checking the "use rtsp/stream timecode" box and letting the night clips be. Start saving to replace my two front cameras with some Hikvision.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing about starting to save. Would be a real let down if cameras that cost 3x's what the reolinks do does the same thing. lol
