Since updating to the latest version and enabling MQTT publishing for alerts over the weekend, BI is constantly crashing. I'm not sure which is causing the issue - just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing similar issues. I'm happy to pull logs to post when I get home today if that would help.

Monitor your CPU and memory usage and see if either is rising to the limit before the crash. If you're using hardware acceleration and Windows snuck in an Intel driver update that could be the problem.

I'm having similar problems since enabling MQTT alerts. I'm also using the latest Blue Iris. I disabled hardware acceleration a few days ago, after contacting BI Support. Still getting crashes when MQTT is enabled. It's disabled for now. I will monitor and see if that fixes it.

Of course, it may not be that simple, as Windows Update installed the annual "big" April 2018 update on May 10, so maybe MS did something?

FWIW, BI has been trouble free for over two years, sending text alerts without problem. All of my trouble started when I enable MQTT and started publishing alerts.

Sorry to resurect a dead thread, but there are BI crashes almost certainly related to MQTT. If I enable MQTT BI crashes daily, without MQTT it is stable, perfectly.

Any assistance woulld be appreciated.

Just a quick update, it appears that the Blue Iris devs have fixed the MQTT problem. I've been using it now for about three weeks with no problems at all. It's been fixed since at least v4.7.7.0.
