So... I was developing a "camera viewer" to display a bunch of camera feeds (sub streams) on an office TV... but that became an issue with the DLL i found (has a memory leak).
Anyways, I thought after spending about 5 hours coding, and researching... that for $60 I could have just bought BI, and had a full feature viewer
Now, I have all the cameras set up on sub feeds, they are at 704x480 @ 1Mbps @ 6fps (I don't need much), and an i3-2100 is running at like 35% (50 cameras, no recording).
I want to have it display a bunch of the cameras, in a configuration like (but bigger):
XXXX XX
XXXX XX
XX
XX XX XX
where the big XXXX block cycles through the other cameras... Is that possible? Also, would like to highlight the motion in a thicker border as well if I can.
Is/are there better ways to achieve this? Am I asking too much? It does work great as it is right now, just looking for more tweaks
Thanks in advance!
