Better way to secure camera?

I know it's not perfect but the position is ideal.

• Is it better to use a turret or bullet?
• Are there specialized mounts for my setup?

There are some c-clamp plate mounts but honestly what you have custom rigged up appears to be working just fine. I'm not personally a fan of exposed wiring especially when they expose your connections. All it takes is someone coming up behind the camera and cutting the cable or in your case simply unplugging it.
