Bandwidth requirement

I just moved to Florida. The only IP available in my community is Brighthouse Networks. I have just gotten hooked up with them. My download speed is 170 mbs but upload is a mere 10 mbs. I have ds -2cd2632, which I have not yet hooked up here. Is that enough bandwidth to receive descend streaming video away from my lan?
If not, then what can I do about it, short of lowering the resolution?

Oh yeah, that's more than enough to handle one camera. Mine work great and I have only a fraction of the speeds you have.

If you're trying to stream Blue Iris served video to an iOS or Android device running the Blue Iris client app that would be fine. If you're needing to stream BI served video to a laptop or desktop use Bp2008's brilliant "Better remote-live-view pages for Blue Iris"...
