I have two on my mailbox above the street number and they're pretty bright. I watched a review video of the 4KT and I thought I remembered that one clip I saw was using a 5W light only. Looked pretty impressive.
Are there any PoE "powerable" warm white lights?

Is that a 24VDC passive device (as many UBNT devices are) or is it 802.3af/at compliant?

I have a yellowish HPS streetlight across the street from my house. I run my 4kt 2.8 mm at my front door. Onboard lights at 7% to counter the backlight from the street. Works just fine at the distances the 2.8 needs.
I am looking for another light solution as you are. Once it gets warm at night here the bugs will be fierce.

No street lights. Live in a very rural area.

Not really. If I end up using Color4K-Ts everywhere, I'll just have to use the onboard LEDs.
