After extensively experimenting with various settings on my, I believe I've optimized it to the best of my ability. Would anyone be able to provide feedback to potentially enhance the image quality further?

The camera overlooks my driveway with no fast-moving cars in view. It's zoomed about 140’, and there's no ambient light. I've included a snapshot from tonight, along with the night settings for reference. Also, it's worth noting that the plate is a 3M type.

That looks pretty good to me, especially with a 3M plate @ 140' and no light. I'd think that a normal plate would look great. Might be helpful to post one just to see.

Mostly Just tweaking to preferences at this point. Maybe take contrast up a little more. Take sharpening down a bit more. Focus looks pretty good. What are you running for bitrate and FPS?

I agree that is a great capture for the 3M plate.

Awesome! Thank you for the feedback. Kind of figured this was a great capture for 3M plates. I'll try what Mike suggested and see what it looks like tonight.
My issue now is getting the camera to keep time. It's consistently losing time, which throws off my Day/Night switch schedule.. Any trick?

What are you using to set the time? Best to sync it to a time server via NTP. Setting it using the PC's time is a one-time deal. It will drift from that over time.

Actually. I think it’s a firewall issue. My camera is on its own vlan. So I need to add some rules for port 123. I’ll try that after

Update:
Had to set DST due to UTC. All good so far

So I’m not really sure how to handle this situation. I have the camera switch to the night profile at 4pm. If I leave it on day there isn’t enough light to get a clear picture. I’ve attached my settings and an example.

1/4000 is probably too fast of a shutter at night. Most of us are 1/2000 and that straight of a shot you might be able to do 1/1,000
