The only issue we have and have had since we upgraded from the last version
of Blue Iris 3.xxx to the first version of 4.xxx is that three of our old
legacy analog cameras no longer display.

I had originally worked with Ken when we were on version 3x and he had me
enable the UDP ports and that got them displaying okay on version 3x.

However, no matter what I do in any version of 4x, they will not display.

I have BI 3.66 and the latest BI 4.3.5.0 on the same PC.
They display in any version of 3x but not in any version of 4x.
Also, I can display them in the IE browser on that same PC.

They are PELCO cameras model Sarix,Spectra IV RTSP
Path is /stream1
media/RTSP port is 554
discovery port is 8999
Receive buffer is 3.0 MB
RTP/UDP port is checked and at 6208
(I think I have tried every possible combination of settings in BI 4.x but to no avail.)

If I use the "inspect camera" function, it finds the RTSP
port open and changes the camera name to generic but does not display video

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. (All our other current/new cameras are digital and work well)

thanks

The Pelco Sarix Series are IP cameras, not Analog.

Pelco Spectra IV's come in either analog or IP.

If these are what you have, you do not need an encoder. These ARE IP CAMERAS.

https://www.pelco.com/ptz-ip-cameras/spectra-iv-ip-dome-camera-network-positioning-systems#tab/documents

A Pelco Spectra IV IP H.264 is a PTZ with 32x optical zoom and cost around $2,000.00.

Post the model numbers off the bottom of the dome drive and I might be able to help. If you they are the analog variety, I would suggest an Axis encoder. Pelco encoders are proprietary to Pelco CMS. I support hundreds of these in both analog and IP.

Thanks for your help.

The old cameras are analog. They have a coax feed from the cameras to the Pelco NET5404T encoders. Is there an old Pelco Endura model camera?
That is the name the utility displays.
I mis-spoke when i listed the camera model in my previous text. These cameras are three stories up in a warehouse type setting and not easy to access for model numbers.

Ken was kind enough to remote to our system and confirm that these analog cameras work in BI 3.x but not in BI 4.x as BI 4.x is currently configured.

He has given me instructions on sending a SmartSniff capture file of the conversation that a RTSP client uses to get the video flowing on those cameras.

When I send the results to him he should be able to provide me with the settings to put these cameras online in BI 4.x
(How can anyone beat the Blue iris product and the support for it?)

Thanks again for your responses.
