Hello all please help I am a very Newbie and never set up BI before did some research and have a extra old GPu that I want to use for BI about 12-14 Cams 1080p or 2k max + 1PTZ 4K (for cash register)
My system is
i5 10400f
16Gb DDR4 3000mhz
512 GB SSD
Will add 10-12TB segate Surveillance HDD
Very basic setup nothing crazy and advance

If the mobo has onboard graphics there's no need for the Radeon card at all. Use the built in Interl Quicksync for your cameras. That processor won't even break a sweat if you use sub streams in BI.

I have a intel processor and an additional Nvidia display card also. I use the Intel quicksync for the camera processing and the Additional video card to drive an HDMI display. I do not have an HDMI on the MotherBoard. That CPU will process the camera data no problem.

Do a clean install of windows 10 using "Microsoft media creation tool"
