What's your opinion? I currently have a Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-28MM. I have the opportunity to buy a used Hikvision DS-2CD2185FWD-I for $50. Should i buy it and replace the Amcrest? Will the Hikvision have better low light compared to the Amcrest? Looking for opinions. Thanks.

The Amcrest is 5MP on the 1/2.7" sensor and claims 0.008 Lux @ F1.6
The Hikvision is 8MP on the 1/2.5" sensor and claims a worse 0.01 lux @ F1.2
Neither one is on the ideal MP/Sensor ratio and based on the lighting specs, the Amcrest is better at night, and I would probably agree based on the sensor sizes.
I say save your money for cameras that fall on the ideal MP/sensor ratio.
