Amcrest NVR killing my 6TB purple drives

i have this amcrest model NV4108E with 6Tb purple drive.
it is set to record 6 cameras 24/7 nonstop. for whatever reason, the drive would die after 3 weeks. any ideas why??? two brand new drives now dead already.
here are some system infos:




drive unreadable with 0 space free and 0 space total. unbelievable.

Maybe the Amcrest is underpowered to power the drive and the NVR?

Maybe you do not have it set up to record over and rewrite once full so it fills up and stops?

Maybe you are unfortunately getting knock off WD drives? I believe you can confirm with serial numbers on their website if they are legit.
