Hi,
I am building a 40+ ip camera system for an office. The system requires the cameras to record 24/7 at a minimum resolution of 720p at 15fps.
The storage requirements for the system are eating up the budget since the system need store weeks of footage with a raid array for redundancy.
I was looking at these amcrest IP2M-842E cameras which from reading posts on here are rebranded dahua 2mp cameras with a sony sensor. These cameras seem to be very basic cameras which i think should fit the requirements of the system.
I was wondering if anyone on here knows if these amcrest cameras or in general the 2mp dahua cameras suffer from any type of fps drop when recording in night mode, or if the ir leds are turned off and are recording in complete darkness as the system really must at a minimum have 15fps.
Thank you in advance for any answers or even input from the forum.
