Advise for simple setup

I myself am currently running a mixture of Hikvisions with a custom built NVR PC. I have been asked by my father n law for a camera solution for his business. To avoid a support nightmare involving myself I was wanting to find a good kit complete with NVR and cameras.

6 outdoor and 2 indoor, they need to be POE and a remote viewing feature available. I run blue iris on a PC but I just think this will get too complicated for him and will cause free support from me the son n law.

He has rebranded Hikvision cameras with 3 year warranties for very good prices. He also can sell you an 8 channel NVR.

You are absolutely right. That costco kit looks excellent and you would be hard pressed to match it with parts purchased individually. I have no idea who the gear is rebranded from, but that looks like a really good deal. It even comes with 100 foot cables for each cam and a hard drive in the NVR.

On the other hand the costco kit is all the same cameras and same lenses so you can't pick wide lenses for some places and narrow lenses for others unless you buy separate lenses and replace them yourself.

true, and you cant get audio or sd card storage..
