Interesting. Any idea why my Dahua ptz will absolutely not hold a date and time. Always defaults back to +8 gmt time and it's all screwy. About to th row it in the trash if it didn't cost so much
 
At one point I was but I disconnected it from the nvr for a couple days, date/time went crazy again. I'm about to toss it and get a hikvision ptz or two more fixed cameras instead. It's an empire security nvr. Blah
 
What do you have checked in general settings? Do you have the NTP checked off?
 
That depends, does the ptz have it's settings in the gui, or the osd? Not all Dahua's have an osd menu.
 
my IP PTZ camera has all the settings in a normal IP camera menu. The camera is the 3-9 mini ptz. I gotta find an eyesurv/dahua dvr to see how it does with it maybe. I have tried it with and without the ntp setting checked with nothing being better. I tried disconnecting it from the nvr and I thought it fixed itself but it went crazy again after a while
