8mp cam

Is this the 2CD2385FWD-I?
Can you post daylight and night pics (with the settings as well)?

a lot of detail. I used 20 of them so far. and sold 10 of them. I try to use it in the 7616NI(up to 6mp). video skipping when record in motion detection mode. when I switched to 4k nvr. they work perfect.

I'm also very curious as to how this camera looks at night......can't wait for you screenshots.

Hikvision USA lists this DS-2CD2385FWD-I 8MP turret camera as Ultra Low Light, rated color at 0.027 lux @ F2.0. I wonder if they've really been able to add more pixels AND improve nighttime image.

I'd like to see how the night images compare with the DS2CD2342WD-I 4MP turret cams.

Thanks in advance!

Running standard settings at the moment so it's straight out of the box in the garage on the bench,in pitch black I was standing in the camera spot and could not see that shelving in front of me

Thanks! Be great if you could stick it outside the garage door and look outside.

I don't want you to think we don't appreciate what your doing, but these pics so far just aren't showing the hardwars ability.

One thing I have noticed is that the iVMS-4500 ram runs in the red but task manager says I'm only 8% on memory the laptop has 64gb of ram so I'm not sure what's happening there

I wound back the Kbps to 8192 and is now stable I suppose this is how you learn this stuff by maxing out the settings and slowly fine tuning them back

Day time all settings on 50% will post one at night in a few hours time

Directly above this is a 2332 which is being replaced so I would say it has double ir lighting that's why I had it in the garage it's pitch black I could not see the shelves and the camera could make out everything in detail
