5MP or 4K?

I run two Amcrest 4k cameras in front of the house.
We now have a shed that I want to put cameras on that will cover the big back yard and the area behind the shed. I was thinking about getting more 4k,but then thought that more MP isn't always better. What do you guys/gals think? What's your experience with 5MP? Thanks
 
Stick to a 2MP with a 1/2.8" sensor or a 4MP with a 1/1.8" sensor. Stop chasing megapixels. I am guessing the back yard will have far less light than the front yard so low light performance will be the key for you.

Since I already use Amcrest,any suggetions on a Amcrest Model? Heck,really doesn't matter. Due to the way the shed is,a Bullet would work better.
 
These cameras need a lot of light unless you run auto shutters...but then you do not get clear images...

I have 33,000 lumen and the camera will go to B/W because there isn't enough light running the shutter at 1/120 to not get motion blur or ghosting. But if I run the shutter on auto, hey it looks like noon at midnight, but then I get casper the ghost for any motion...

I would consider the below as both have a detailed image with 8mp along with a very large sensor 1/1.2" sensor and F1:0 lens and a 30m / 40m White LED to light the area.

Where can they be purchased? B&H seem to be backordered.
 
Not sure my friend as I am over the pond in the UK. I would AVOID Chinese sellers and AliExpress and ONLY buy from "Authorised" Hikvision Distributors,
