5MP models DS-2CD2155F-IS DS-2CD2355-I?

I have not seen any reviews about these 5MP modems. Yes they are for Chinese market with patched firmware for multilanguage support. Anyone has experience with them?

I am happy with DS-2CD3345-I (Chinese model with patched firmware also). Is it worth the $25 extra (30%) to go from 4MP to 5MP? Btw there is still no way to view streaming in browser without activex?

I was looking to get 3345 also. What's your feedback regarding image quality night & day. Did you have opportunity to compare with 3MP equivalent?

I was thinking of getting the 5MP versions of these turrets but now that you mentioned that, I'll just have to wait for a different model that offers 20fps. I see that LTS has some 5MP with 20fps but they are asking almost $50 more than what AE is offering. They are asking about $150/each for theirs.

Yeah, I saw the other thread and luckily didn't buy a sample. It looks a lot worse than the 4MP. I'm going to stick with the 4MP instead and wait a better 5MP to come out over there. LTS carries a 5MP that has 20fps and it's available now but it's about $150/each.

I just ordered the 5mp DS-2cd2355-i for my sunset/timelapse cam. Hoping for better IQ at 2560×1920 We'll find out in a few weeks...

DS-2cd2355 them is a ip cam for china domestic market, and you will not be able to update the firmware English.

My $94 5mp DS-2cd2355-i turret arrived from Aliexpress and was up an running in a few minutes via SADP . The image looks great, so far only at night, but a noticeable difference in IQ when compared to my other cams.

I set the CAM to H.265 and BI shows 5.8MP and a Bitrate of only 215 kB/s which is appears to be a much lower Bitrate and more Pixels that any of my cams.

I also set the Image format to 3000x1920 (force size). I like the look better then the default.

Anyone else who have purchased the 5 MP ones and can give some feedback. Thinking to get them or 4 MP ones.
Also suggest if 4 MP chineese model are fine or we need to get the international model where we can update the firmware.
