4k camera for 4k blueiris?

Dumb Question of the Day...
Do you have to own a 4k Camera in order to run Blueiris (5) 4k software? I own a 4k Television Set and currently use Blueiris 4. My Security Camera is 1080p

It says on the Software support and maintenance page that I'm not version 5 eligible

Heh heh. No. You don't need a 4K camera. Blue Iris 5 only mentioned better 4K support because of its improved compatibility with windows desktop scaling since BI 4.

The main reason for a person to not be eligible for version 5 is simply that they aren't on an extended or priority support plan, or activated their BI 4 license before April 1st 2019.
