300 ft cat6 internet run question

Can I run 300 ft of cat6 for Internet from a high end Netgear router directly to a NVR for internet remote viewing? or would a good switch to the NVR be a better way?

Sure. 300’ is within Ethernet specs.

If you need more ports for other devices than you will have to put a switch in the middle.

Thanks, I just wasn't sure if i would get a better internet signal if using a good switch after the netgear router.
