24x7 vs motion setup

I need to move several camera's off of 24x7 to motion and leave like 2 on 24x7 ( I have 10 camera's), every time I change one of the camera's to motion it moves back to 24x7 recording. Think I'm doing something wrong but unsure what.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have different profiles? If so you have to make the change or use copy/paste in the record tab. If not that then you may need to post your record tab settings.

I was thinking Blue Iris and you may have NVR.

knowing the equipment in question would help.
