What a crappy security system. You think in these times, he would know better.

I did read about it and there were reports that the surveillance system was defeated by some means. I was think an insider was in on this.

In addition to shitty cameras, to me that looks like someone recording the screen playing the video.

Yeah. The only semi-good video looks like it was from a nearby car dealership, or a different system owned by the same dealer.

And even that video isn't very good. But at least the second system's video was able to be exported. It really does look like the cops had to shoot a video of the monitor to get anything from the first system. It may be an old VCR-type setup, or use a DVR that doesn't have any easy way to export a clip.

Whenever I see one of these hand-held phone camera videos of a monitor, I'm reminded of how nice it is to be running Blue Iris on a PC!
