“Device Not Connected” Problem used by recent update on 04-14-2016

I have Windows 10 running Blue Iris release 4.3.1.0 x64 on a Toshiba laptop. It was working fine until I did an update today. Now I have the error message “Device Not Connected” meaning that my webcam is no longer connected to Blue Iris. (I believe)

I have check Device Manager in Control Panel and in Windows 10 - Settings – Devices (of which the webcam was not listed) and have found no problems. I have checked the webcam by running SKYPE using Tools - Options – Video Settings, and the webcam is working fine.

Does anyone have the solution to this problem?
