    Choosing Hikvision cameras: Lines and Darkfighter

    Is there a huge difference between sensor image quality between 1, 2 and 2plus lines? I went to the local Hikvision shop/distributor and asked for a 3MP Dome camera for indoor use (no need for night vision). The cheapest one was 1-line, he said for the same price I can have 1.3MP 2-line, and...

    2016 Hikvision cameras don't work full res on DS-7616HI-ST

    So this is my prob; I have a mix of analog and IP cameras on my system so have to go for a Hikvision Hybrid DVR; the DS-7616HI-ST which can handle 5mp res cameras... so its advertising says... (which appears to be false advertising at the mo!) I have 2 new Hikvision DS-2CD2742FWD cameras...
