    FYI, the little HikVision DS-2CD2D14WD Administrator password must only have alpha-numeric characters (letters and numbers like "a B 1 2 3 ...", nothing like "- + ? ..."). Otherwise, you will not be able to login to it after setting the password (you will then have to factory reset it). Just...

    iVMS-4200 client software for Windows 10 needs admin privileges?

    Is it normal to get a UAC prompt in order to start iVMS? I'm using version 6.2.6 build20170719 but it's done this with all the version I've used. If there is a way to start it without admin access, that would be great. If there isn't, does anyone know why it requires those rights?
