    Ahh many thanks. I did the config tool setup incorrectly before where it would not appear on there, and I just tried it again on my laptop and the device appears. Will let you know if I need any more help. Thanks again

    I meant that the laptop connects to the router and switch and gets listed with an IP address on the client list. My router's default IP is 192.168.50.X and all my connected devices follow the same scheme.

    I've tried connecting it both to my PoE switch, and to the router, but it just does not show up under my list of devices. Plugging in my laptop to those same ports works just fine so am I doing something wrong or is it the camera? Some of the things I tried were to reset my switch, router...
