    PTZ camera

I think I will probably just use a normal camera like one of the bullet cameras I have. They have a pretty good wide angled view.

    PTZ camera

If I set up a PTZ camera looking over the front of my property. Does that mean I can zoom in different directions when reviewing recordings or does it only work if you are viewing live?

    Live streaming WebCam

Thanks for the advice guys. It's by much appreciated. But I have decided to keep this camera as a spare in case any of my other cameras pack up. Green feathers sell very nice wildlife IP camera which is made specifically for wildlife videoing. It's a little less conspicuous than this great...

My Blue tits have laid eggs

You may remember a few months ago I was having issues with a couple of my nesting cameras. Anyway, that's all sorted now. I thought you may be interested in watching the blue tits Rear their young in a nesting that is on the wall of my house. The female has laid 10 eggs and is now sitting on...

    Live streaming WebCam

I have just plugged in my HikVision POE into an injector switch and have activated the camera using SADP. The camera is still using 192.168.1.64. This is the same IP address as my NVR. I can hear the NVR blurting out some Morse code from the other room and my cameras are all going off...

Viewing nesting box camera on smart phone

Wow! What a great picture. This new camera I bought is awesome. Even at night when it's pitch black in the box, you still get a crystal-clear picture where you can even see the tiny bits of dust in the box. I can hardly wait until they start laying eggs..

Viewing nesting box camera on smart phone

I have recently Started live streaming my nesting box camera. I'm using a company called Angelcam to live stream the camera. However, a few of my viewers have commented that they are not able to view the video on their smart phone. Thing is, it's not happening with everybody. I'm wondering...

    Indeed, lightning does strike twice

Just to let you know that I have sorted my problem. A friend of mine connected to my computer remotely, and I now have my bird box camera back on the correct IP address. However, I just discovered that the company I was using to live stream my camera have changed their format and are not able...

    Indeed, lightning does strike twice

I just wanted to add that when I run a program that enables you to watch IP cameras and web cams. It is now finding a device. However, that device obviously has the wrong IP address and it won't work. So I'm hoping is just a case of changing the IP address and then we will be there.

    Indeed, lightning does strike twice

Okay, I have switched off UPnP I have removed port forwarding for my camera I have restarted my router. However, I'm not altogether sure how I temporarily assigned my PC with an IP address. When I look in ONVIF device manager I can now see its listing and IP camera. However, there's no video...

    Indeed, lightning does strike twice

Yes, it did bring up a log in page. One would assume that it would use the same login details of all the other cameras. However, it just says device not detected when I enter in the login details.

    Indeed, lightning does strike twice

Yes, it is showing. And the Weird thing is that if I put a password in admin password and then click modify a duplicate IP address appears. So basically I have two showing.

    Indeed, lightning does strike twice

No, this was a camera that was working great and was live streaming. Honestly, You couldn't make it up. When it was plugged into the NVR. I tried accessing under virtual host. But it said it couldn't recognise the device. A friend of mine has suggested that I plug it directly into my Smart...

    Indeed, lightning does strike twice

I'm quite embarrassed to even have to come on here and seek advice again. After rearranging cables today. One of my bird box IP cameras inadvertently got plugged into my NVR. Originally, the IP address was 192.168.1.10. Now the IP address of the camera is 192.168.254.36. I've tried logging...

Resetting IP address on bird box camera

I have the camera plugged into my network video recorder and it's working fine. I don't think I'm going to be able to revert the IP address back to 192.168.1.10 like it was before because I realised the DHCP setting within the camera was switched off. I had hoped that I could have connected...

Resetting IP address on bird box camera

That's weird. It should be using the same password as all the other cameras. Cheap Chinese rubbish. That's the problem. Mind you, all the other cameras are Chinese as well, and they are a damn sight cheaper as well.

Resetting IP address on bird box camera

I am just wondering whether this little bird box IP camera requires a 12 V connection in order to access it, rather than the POE connection

Resetting IP address on bird box camera

I don't think I am going to get anywhere with this camera. I have plugged the bird box camera back into the NVR. I can see on-screen in front of me, so it's working perfectly okay. I am able to log into other cameras connected into the box. However, when I try and log into the bird box...

Resetting IP address on bird box camera

Yes, there's definitely power going to the camera. I've had this happen before with the same sort of camera. Last year I plugged the camera into an NVR and then discovered that the IP address had changed. That is why I never made the mistake again until my stupid mate plugged into my NVR...

Resetting IP address on bird box camera

Yes, that is the exact camera I am using. And you are also correct about the default IP address (192.168.1.10) I have just tried pinging but it's not recognising anything.
