Unit keeps losing video....at least once a day all 16 cameras. Resetting the nvr brings everything back.....have gone through the network and cameras and can find nothing wrong,,,,,any direction appreciated.
Quick question....will Hikvision tech support work with you on this unit. Been running into problems with them supporting units purchased from "unauthorized" distributors. Very frustrating...

NVR is Hikvision 7604, two buildings connected via fiber....NVR and 2 cameras are in one building and the camera we'd like to "split" out is in the other building. Sorry for not being more detailed.

Is there a way to have an IP camera work on an NVR and appear on a monitor at the same time? I know we can use a pc and access the camera through the web browser but was curious to see if we could find a way "split" the signal....

thanks for the reply! Accessing the NVR locally on their network via browser o windows 7 pc...everything onsite is poe gig switches. Hikvision said to check the firmware of the unit and to try choosing the substream to display. Never worked on one of these before so trying to find my way
Recently installed a Hikvision 7604 with 3 3mp 2332 turret cameras. View and playback is great from the unit but severely lags when viewing over the network. Have never worked with this unit so wanted to know if there were any settings to look at to eliminate this problem.
