The presets work fine when accessing the camera through the internet browser, however they still don't work in BI, along with the +- focus and arrows.

My guess would be the IP address for these cameras are clashing with other cameras / devices on your network that already have the same IP address.

Firmware updated OK, however quality is much the same. Looks like I'll have to live with it, which is a shame because I was hopeful I could use it as an intercom at the front door

Thanks for setting me straight and providing the link to the FW. I'll update that and see how I go. I tried it with the Hik-connect app and still have the same issues/quality (or lack of), so hopefully the latest FW will do the trick

Although a turret camera, I installed a DS-2CD2347G2-L and a DS-2CD2347G2-LU just this week. The only difference between the 2 is the one with the 'U' has a microphone.
