Multi-cam isn't too much of an issue for, my main view now has 14 cameras all 15FPS, between 2 and 4MP and CPU hovers around 20% Its when click onto a camera on multiple machines that the CPU spikes, so I assume going to sub-stream won't really solve that problem

I currently record full quality 24/7, and I don't have much of an issue with storage When doing sub-streams, the 24/7 recording is lower quality?

I'm upgrading my system. I want it to be a little less botched together so I will go for a bigger board with more PCI-E and some better features I'm looking at a new intel build, and a lot of the CPU's have P cores and E cores. Does this benefit Blue Iris at all? I am not using sub streams...

Yeah, the GPU will take care of the AI and you will have minimal if any impact on the CPU If it doesn't bother you, then you're in the best situation! Sub steams seems like a great deal, if you can get over those things

I tried them and it made the UI3 web view just look odd, and there was a very slight delay from it switching from the sub to the full stream. I like the instant nature of clicking on a camera and viewing it right away, the switch was a deal breaker. I often see something out the corner of my eye...

Personally, I just don't like Sub-streams, but maybe I need to look into them again
