No more then any other VDB phone app. Like all apps its up too you how much access you feel conferrable giving it. On the plus side the video feed (or saved video files) is nothing more then some one driving by your house would see. -

If this is working for you I think your the first person to detect a button press from the DB out side the phone app. The onvif will pass a remote trigger for the PIR motion but it does NOT pass anything when you press the button or at least no one has posted that they have found it. I think... -

You only seem to have port watts under manual mode with no way to set the voltage. I would check and see what the MAX volts for your VDB is and check your POW volts output (I am betting its 48vac) is before hooking up! If your POE switch volts is too high just get a POE Extractor with the... -

On mine I can have the switch out put power even if no device is detected. POE devices kind of talk to the switch (its just a resister value or some thing simple like that) and tells it too send power and how much too send. If your switch does not do that you can pick up an POE Extractor box...
