Other than the branding on the box all cameras shipped with unbranded firmware - I have upgraded a ton out in the field for our customers with zero issues using Dahua FW.

Why doesn't everyone migrate all their devices to DMSS both for the iOS platform and Android. As i/gDMSS is not being developed anymore, Dahua is now using a 3rd party software company to develop DMSS. IVS Playback performs perfectly on DMSS I use it for multiple sites on a daily basis.

Yes you have full PTZ control using the DMSS mobile app.

Why are you trying to access that camera via p2p? instead of utilizing the NVRs p2p?

We are a distributor and sell quite a bit of Zuum - they are 100% Dahua OEM , no issues either with flashing dahua firmware.

Why are you avoiding a firmware update? There is a 11-29-2019 available for that NVR and is probably part of the issue.

Also what model NVR are you using? Whats the current FW build date - I can source you an update.

8.r is definitely still triggering on cats - We have this mounted at a gym here in California and these cats set it off 4-5 times every single night (driving the owner crazy) Will test this tonight and report back.

I work for a smaller distributor here in the USA, we brought in a good amount of these and they have been selling pretty well. This particular unit is one of my current favorites from the Dahua Lineup great image quality,great low light performance, and AI + 2 Way Audio built in to top it off...

What issue/error message regarding playback are you having?

In-terms of catching plates, how do you feel about the performance with Video Structure enabled? On a 5832 Series Pro AI NVR (doing the processing) the results are less than impressive. From the looks of your pictures it blows this NVR out of the water.

It's always best to use 1 manufacturer for both camera and nvr. With that said if they are onvif compaitable then it won't be an issue, you can also pull the rtsp stream. In terms of features motion detection and nvr side IVS should should work fine.
