The AUTO and MANUAL buttons he is showing in his post are for the timing (LED ON). There are separate AUTO and MANUAL buttons for brightness (LED brightness adjustment).

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

The Timing button is not necessary with AUTO checked. Per page 52 of the manual, "Auto: The LED will be turned on according to the environment illumination."

In your settings it looks like you have checked "Flashing Alarm". Perhaps that is triggering your flashing?

    Add Cameras with Web Interface?

Hikvision DS-7608NI-K2/8P NVR. Is one required to use the HDMI/Monitor setup to add cameras on the NVR? My location is very inconvenient in a closet and I have accessed the NVR via its IP address over my network, but I do not see any configuration menu for adding cameras. If I just plug in a...

    Hik NVR Questions

I just received from Andy his NVR7608-8P-4K2 (Hikvision DS-7608NI-K2/8P) and installed 2 4TB WD purple drives for continual recording. I have had Hik cameras for a number of years (recording individually with Sd cards and remote access via DDNS), but this is my first foray into the NVR world...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

If yours is like mine, you use the 4 holes in the junction box and the 4 holes in the camera bracket. You have to loosen the set screw which holds the bracket to the camera in order to separate the camera from its bracket. Then, mount the bracket to the junction box with 4 machine screws and...

Audible Alarm Sounds With SD card Inserted

If anyone else has had this problem, I have stumbled upon the solution. The ENABLE RECORD SCHEDULE box needs to be unticked in the Record Schedule tab before the SD Card is recognized by the camera under storage. The alarm blares until you click the FORMAT button and then all seems to be OK. No...

Audible Alarm Sounds With SD card Inserted

I have 2 new DS-2CD2432F-IW cube cameras which I have set up on my network. I have another of the same camera with 5.2.5 firmware which is set up and has worked fine with a 64GB card for a year or so. My problem with the new cameras is that when I install a SanDisk Ultra 64GB card, the audible...

DS-2CD2132F-IS not recognizing local mircoSD card

I, too, have this setup and am using SanDisk 64 cards in my 3 cameras (64 Gb is the upper limit for the 5.2.5 firmware). They all work great. I would add that you should feel a slight click when the card is inserted correctly. The first one I did was not recognized, and it was because I hadn't...

    Seeking Confirmed NAS Configuration

I am looking for a NAS solution, $200 or less, for my Hikvision DS-2CD2132F-IS cameras (firmware 5.2.5). I have read all the threads I could find on the subject on this board, and it seems that there are problems with many of the NAS options as well as a potential firmware problem with a size...

Solving some NFS issues on Hikvision cameras

Is there no solution to the WD MyCloud NAS problems with Hikvision cameras? I too am stuck with a 4TB unit that I had planned to use as an NAS for 3-4 cameras. I can find no way to set quotas by user or share. The drive is supposed to support NAS, but it will only pass the test with SMB/CIFS...
