Hi, that is normal, that the camera requests a User name and password. At least you have one User: admin and your passwort for admin (from the initial initialization)... You can change that, after login under: Settings -> System -> User

Hello Stormy, as I wrote, colors are not the key... the assingment must be correct, doesn't mater, what color. For what exacly each wire is, I really don't know... but wiki does ;-) (sry for all, that I post the German wiki link, but it should be easier to understand)...

Hi, yes, Dahua uses the standard assignments (colors are not the key, but the assigment of the wires), because I assamble all my LAN wires (CAT7 with CAT6 plugs) by my selve with this scheme and all Dahuas runs perfect:

@VorlonFrog , that will sadly take some time, because the camera, I received, has a defect... just 2 out of 3 IR Lights are working and has to be repaired, better changed. :mad: I tested another power supply, all 3 IR modes.. noch changes, just 2 IR lights are working... But the female, is...

Hi folks, I received the Dahua DH-SD1A404XB-GNR from Andy. Sadly, there comes no power supply with the camera (support POE, which I dont use at all), which I did not notice :-( But I have a standard power supply with 12V and 2A and with 5,5mm/2,1mm barrel connector... with + on the middle pin...

@fenderman , sorry, but one more question..... what is the right mounting device for the camera on my position? Dahua PFA130-E or PFA13G or ????? Because, the Dahua accessories sheet dont name the camera...
