OK, Finally finished the code to pull data from API on autochk. I store the vin, and model data. The data decodes as a python dictionary inside a python list. Once I figured that out the rest was easy enough. Next to add code to invalidate a bad plate number.

No that is a "feature" of the system. The ALPR doesn't know the difference between a plate and sign. We need to move the camera location or wait for political season to end. The LPR is in a fixed position. It's getting a video of a window of time. Certain speeds vs time are rejected. Glad you...

The answer is I don't use the agent, or any of their database data. Each picture is sent to ALPR, and a nice JSON data is sent back with color, vehicle type, etc. I am pretty sure we approached the problem differently. I wanted to limit how many requests I made back to there server.
