Any idea why ctr U is not working? I have Ds-7216 huhi k2 OEM . I am connected, via putty after boot up I can get help, try to use some commands, but I cant stop boot via CTR U... It is brand new oem - was with some old firmware, I put 4.2, was ok, but user said, that he wants old menu... SO I...

I got new one, the same model - first update without problem, firmware 4.2 - new menu and design. Thx for help.

now is 3.5.35 yestrday I got 3.5.37 ( www.internec.pl/files/firmware/i7-T2404_08_i7-T2504_i7-T2804VH_V3.5.37_PL_EN_DE_181122.zip ) - this is internec dvr ( oem of hikvision).

As I wrote - yesterday I tried to upgrade with dedicated firmware for this model ( from seller, not hikvision firmware, but branded firmware ) and the same - upgrade process without errors, but without result. It looks like K2 - F2 looks totally different. I don't want to try upgrade via RS...

Hi, I am always buying branded hikvision dvr's and put original firmware, always without problem. At this time I have 2 dvr's : 7216HUHI-K2 and similary but 8CH : 7208HUHI-K2. As always I upgrade 7208 with hik firmware, but I can't do it with 7216. I tryied 3 files, always I have reading file...

I made new cable... from 2 pcs of 2-pin IR connector:) Now it is better - I can stop booting, put some text but I don't have command to upgrade, after put U there is no info to confirm. At second PC I can't stop booting via CTR+U :) I can write commands but after dvr wakes up. I see the light...

Ok, but I have this after connected rx and tx together at converter, not after connected to dvr.
