Im working on a HDW5231-ZE that died during a firmware update. Everytime I try this method I get (success.txt file not found). Does anybody know what it means?

I’m able to get option 2 to work but I don’t understand one part. When I unzip the firmware I get a Bin file - where does the .img file come from?

Shouldn’t the reset give me back the old firmware?

I thought I had it fixed but its still not working. I reset it numerous times and the green light goes off and comes back on. I can't connect to it directly through a web page. Config tool will find it and initialize it but even after that I can't connect to it. It's showing it has the new firmware.

Thanks - I tried that several times with no luck. I tried the default IP. The IP I set it at and Config tool. still not connecting.

I downloaded the firmware update for the 5231. It looked like it finished fine but I’m unable to connected to the camera. It says site can’t be reached. The assigned IP refused to connect. I thought maybe it reset and tried to search it as new but that didn’t work either. Any ideas how to fix it?
