Dahua sd10a248v PTZ takes a really long time to reboot 10 minutes plus.

If I lose power or power cycle, reboot the camera etc. It will try to restart multiple times before it finally finishes and comes back online. It shows to have the newest firmware. It has done this since I purchased it 27 months ago. I am using blueiris 5 but I doubt this has anything to do with...

Possible to flush Q-see QCN7001B cameras with Dahua firmware?

I see the camera ip when logged into the router, the camera works with blue iris but I lose signal around time daily and have to reenter the ip into blue iris. This is one of 10 cameras I have using blue iris. I have set static ip's on all the others but cannot access web interface to do that...

Dahua PTZ wont stay logged in.

That is a serious flaw. Unless I am missing something Blue Iris lacks the "click with mouse" to move the camera to a desired target so I record with Blue Iris and use the camera with the built in interface. The problem is its always logged out when I need to use it and by the time I get it...

So I have the SD10A248V-HNI PTZ, whats best way to control and record?

I have the SD10A248V-HNI PTZ installed on a 40' tower, gonna add to a 70' tower in the future. I am coming from using an Axis Q-6035E and with that camera I only used the built in interface/brower by simply typing in its ip address and then used what axis called camera companion to view when...

    Replacing a damaged Axis Q6035-E

Another feature that may help me is image stabilization. I say this because the camera is mounted to a tower that has a long horizontal mounted antenna at the top and the wind will slightly twist the tower making the image hard to view. The camera that I have now is mounted in a dotworks case...

    Replacing a damaged Axis Q6035-E

I have had an Axis Q6035-E camera since 2012 that is mounted 45' high on my radio tower. It was damaged by lightning and insurance has allowed $3100 to replace it. I will do the install as my tower can be lowered. I also plan to install a more robust surge arrestor system to help keep transient...
