Got IVS alerts setup, but would like marks on timeline for motion.

Hi, I got some really useful help from this community to get my IVS intrusion alarm working with my TiOC and Dahua NVR and I'm really pleased with it I wondered if it's possible to also have lines marked on the timeline in the DMSS app for certain things, like humans being detected in a...

That's awesome, I think I need a router capable of this level of adjustment of the firewall.

How do DMSS push notifications work?

I don't suppose you know what these things open up please @wittaj ? If the top box "mobile push notifications" is on, even if p2p and upnp are off, it works. Curious to know what holes these punch in my security

How do DMSS push notifications work?

Hi, Quite surprised that my DMSS app receives push notifications when I am away from home. I can't view the footage without VPNing back home, which I expect. But it makes me wonder how the notifications are getting to my phone, is the app and NVR connected to some sort of "Dahua cloud" which...

Help with motion detection Vs alarm on tioc

i'm really struggling with getting IVS to work. I made the mapping in in the AI -> Parameters -> IVS config screen a LOT smaller, like 10% of the surveilled area, just to test, and trying both tripwire and intrusion I cannot get it to trigger. I tried setting the target filter really small too...

Help with motion detection Vs alarm on tioc

Still struggling here....but progress. This config below flashes the light when I walk in front of the camera but doesn't play a sound. I feel like I can actually distantly hear the NVR unit itsself making a little beep. The schedule was completely ignored. I was testing a few minutes before...

Help with motion detection Vs alarm on tioc

Hoping you can have a look at this IVS config please. I've created an "intrusion" rule. Set it to 24/7 and clicked the "light" button to hopefully trigger the alarm, but I don't get the TIOC to alarm, nor do I see any event triggered when I walk around in the yellow set area. i do see a yellow...

Thanks once again @Mark_M ! Can I assume from your screenshots the best place to do this config is in the web interface of the NVR?

Help with motion detection Vs alarm on tioc

thanks Mark that's super helpful! I am still struggling however. I've tried using the SmartPSS Windows app, and have even clicked on LInk to Web. One thing I've not yet done is looked at the web interface of the camera like @looney2ns suggested. My main struggle is where to set the config: 1)...

Help with motion detection Vs alarm on tioc

Hi all, First time Dahua user here. Got a tioc and a 4208 NVR hooked up today and I don't understand why when I set motion detection, it alarms with the red and blue lights and the siren. I do want that, but only on a schedule, but it seems to be binary on or off as soon as I enable motion...

I'm gonna try unplugging the cameras from the NVR, plug them into my Poe switch and see if a piece of NVR software sees them

Passwords wrong on cameras connected to NVR

P2p is off. I've tried it on and off. What exactly is the registration page? I've spent most time fiddling in the cameras screen changing the creds of the cameras if that's what you mean.

Passwords wrong on cameras connected to NVR

I've managed it now with that browser you recommended. I'll check the ports on the NVR if you think it's interesting .I think for private brand it has 37777 and for ONVIF it's something different for rtsp and 80 for http.

Passwords wrong on cameras connected to NVR

I know. Super odd. The NVR is certainly on my network as 192.168.0.127. Notice how it's duplicated one of the cameras too

Passwords wrong on cameras connected to NVR

beginning to wonder if there's some weird network stuff going on. I've a modified ASUS router with a beefed up firewall and some ad-blocking. I'll take a look at that later. In the meantime a small upate. I factory reset the cameras and plugged them into the NVR, and chose ONVIF instead of...

Passwords wrong on cameras connected to NVR

I've not managed to log in remotely no. I can't manage to download internet explorer on the windows machine I use at home, instead it pointed me to this "smart DSS" software which I'm not really used to. I am stumped too, and I am also pretty unhappy. Dahua refused to tell me which firmware is...

Passwords wrong on cameras connected to NVR

Right the firmware upgrade doesn't seem to be an option and this NVR won't show me the cameras either plugged into it, or if they're elsewhere on the LAN. Is there any other option I could try anyone please?

Passwords wrong on cameras connected to NVR

192.168.0.127 That firmware you posted is a different date to the one i mentioned in the Dahua wiki so i'll carry on searching as I don't want to brick it.
