I have a few of these and you don't need the Web GUI for the features it offers. Everything is configurable using the IMOU App. After this - you can use it in the iDMSS App.

Using Dahua’s IMOU App - allows you to use their cloud storage with these cameras. Only works for motion detection or PIR detection. Not IVS. Depends on how many days of storage you require. See the attachments.

Installed the latest firmware but haven’t had the time to run any tests yet sorry. The cloud storage works super well for now but will try and test on the weekend.

Not using PSS. Standard functions via web admin. Was using SD cards. Continuous recordings work. Alerts don’t. They are marked but not viewable hence I gave up and starting using cloud storage but will retry now.

As in traditional motion detection? Yes same. I have that turned off and so is IVS. PIR is just used to trigger recordings which in turn fires a notification as well.

You're a little stuck for options as the IPC-A35 doesn't have RMTP support. Your best option is using P2P if VPN is not an option.

THis is the IMOU (Lechange) App but the same thing works for iDMSS. I'm using the IMOU App since it has better integration and easier access to the cloud recordings.

Issue was to do with the video encode type. Seems that they don't record to the Dahua Cloud if the encode type is H.265. I have mine set to H.254H. Recordings seem to working perfectly well now for PIR detections.

Yes I have multiple A46's. IMOU App or iDMSS App are standalone and do pan/tilt and 2-way audio.
