    Thanks for the response. I found an old micro sd card (only 4gb though), and thought I'd try it. Yes it does indeed duplicate which is exactly what I wanted. Cheers everyone.

    That wasn't quite what I was expecting :wtf: . So you don't know the answer either. I wanted to have an idea if it would work before I took the plunge and purchased an SD Card. Looks like I'll have to take the plunge and fork out for a card to find out then Alastair.

    Evening all, I have a Hikvision 2355 turret which can house a 128gb Sd card. Whilst I'm currently using a scheduled snapshot upload using ftp to my preferred server, could I also simultaneously write the same files to the internal SD card? Many thanks for any thoughts you may have. Nottub
