Hi, Sorry for reviving this old threat but how can I do this for the Lorex NR8163? Install firmware via this methode since NVR is not booting up. Keep booting in a loop(each 5 mins) Has started a threat here for this. But no solution yet: Lorex NR816-N or NR8163W

papabill problem is NVR is not booting up any more into the Lorex OS. so can update the firmware that way. need to be via serial port.

I have a NR8163 dou to the Hacked problem I did a firmware update. But since than the nvr keeps rebooting. is in a Boot cycle. Any body know how to fix this? an other way to install the firmware if its not loading the OS?
