Thanks for your reply , I am thinking of adding a NAS device to get "Motion videos" recorded to, What is the best way doing that ? Can I get NVR to record Motion videos to NAS ? Or Is it better to get the cameras to record motions onto NAS directly ? Is that possible and results are good ...- Kasra

How to get Hikvision camera connected to POE ports of Hikvision NVR to access WAN (WWW) ?
Thank you all for your valuable advise , I'm not alien with networking , however can you explain or link me to instructions to do such thing ? Is it done via SSH into my NVR or my ISP's Router and how ? Thanks a million. Regards Kasra -

Hi , thanks for your reply , Last bit got me a bit confused, Want you're saying that it's impossible by using NVRs POE and I need to get a external POE switched to the nvr in order to get cameras access to WAN ? Thanks -

Hello everybody , Glad to find this forum , Newbie here hoping to get help and may be helpful to some in the future :) I have set up a Hikvision system at my home, - NVR : DS-7608NI-K2/8P (V3.4.95 build 170626) - 3 HikVision turret cameras all connected via internal POE switch of this NVR...
