[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

As an FYI all - I've been having my interfaces basically disconnect after 3-6 hours and have to reboot to get them back. Some of this is because I'm using an old supermicro motherboard and i cannot update drivers anymore other than what windows 10 supplies. However, I suspected that the...

If you added a special new user for just the AI part like "aiuser" or something like that, you might want to double check that. I added a guest user for the AI but it just wouldn't work. i quit trying and just used my admin user and pass and this worked. You may have to make the AI user an admin...

Hey, Docker briefly ran in logged off mode after an update to Windows 10 Pro feature 2004. I'm afraid I probably should not be used as a reference. Apparently my server is not listed as supported by Windows 10 by the motherboard mfg. It could be because it's too old (SuperMicro X9SCI-LN4F) and...

here's whats showing. The last one is what it used to say when I logged in, but I believe it would shut itself down when logged off but I had no way of checking - just that it didn't work at all

Ok, Regarding auto-starting Docker/DeepStack this is the only solution I could find: I downloaded the latest AlwaysUp free trial software. Started it up, added Docker located in /Program Files/Docker/Docker/Frontend/Docker Desktop.exe (should be a 100+MB file) Ticked the box at top (instead of...

Yes please enlighten us. There's one more thing in going to try when I get back. There was a check mark that said run when session starts that I had marked yes. Maybe if I mark that it won't start at login but at rebiit instead. I'm grasping at straws here.

Yes I'm running docker for windows and it doesn't autostart. At least the container didn't run but I think it's docker. And yes I have the creds set like yours.

Try localhost or 127.0.0.1 also double check the configuration tab and make sure the path is in there to the aiinput directory. This tool sometimes corrupts its config file for some reason.

well that's a bust. That alwaysup program also failed to start it up - something about permissions even though i used my super user rights. This is such a PITA. I'll now have to autologin to make sure $^#%^! docker runs and take the 12% desktop CPU hit...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I read a post somewhere that said that only windows server OS and enterprise version of Docker can run without a user login. Something to do with the regular version intended to be only for development purposes. There's a piece of paid for software called alwaysup that appears to be a more...

yeah, that's weird. It's in there. But DS isn't up when I'm logged off. The Log On tab of services has the local system account checked.

If docker would only run while you were logged off... Come on, someone has to have figured this out. I saw some saying this works but I cannot reproduce it. If you are completely logged off, Docker will NOT run. I even tried it with NSSM as well, no dice. AiTool runs as a service (no login...

No, it's not running while the user is logged off, therefore it's not running as a service. AiTool is running as a service using nssm it appears. I have to login and then it starts. I wanted to avoid this since the desktop uses like 11% CPU or something like that. Wanted to be complete logged...

Hey there. Wanted to see if anyone knew if the docker container install type runs as a service? I didn't seem to when i tried. I rebooted, logged in, and docker was just starting up again. Is there an EASY way to run it as a service in windows? Thanks

AI motion detection with BlueIris: an alternate approach

No it's because that's already a virtual machine. I'm trying to run a virtual machine in a virtual machine. I guess I could run this on the host machine and use samba shares like someone said? But wow, that's a long way to go. I may have to give this up. I've tried everything now.

I'm literally cursed. Docker doesn't start right: Docker.Core.HttpBadResponseException: Unhandled exception: job failed with message: 'DockerDesktopVM' failed to start. Does docker+deepstack run as a service?

No sure how to check this (AVX), but I did do your suggested patches and it made no difference - AI tool did not reach the server. Also, I ran it on a different server. I'm running out of CPU cycles and space on my VM where Blue Iris runs so I tried to run it on the host windows 10 machine. So...

I just read through it and was having a hard time understanding it. So it's basically both tools in one right? How do I edit stuff in docker? I've never used docker, but have used it in the portainer container in hass.io recently. I'm wondering if I could load it on that?

I can't get this to work no matter what. I've tried FOR DAYS. The AI tool just won't acknowledge the exisitence of the deepstack AI server. I tried a windows install on another machine, doesn't see it. Yes I can access it via URL and it says activated. Then I tried running both of those in admin...
