LaView told me to expect a new update in a few weeks. I am having the same issue. This only happens if I mess with it through the browser. If I turn it off and on again on the app, it appears to work fine.

Rebooting is their equivalent of reset. Verification code is the password, however, you must add lowercase "admin" before it. And yes, I agree, this cam is a pain in the ass to setup. I wish skybell had a feature to brighten up the pictures, SKYBELL works really well.

No - laview is weird. There's a separte password for everything (app phone, nvr, camera, account, app pc). If you didn't change the password when you setup the camera, the default password is admin+the password printed on the camera. EG: adminADYXMX

It turns out they updated their app (laview connect) where you can select the sensitivity and area. I've been getting notifications off the whazoo and couldn't figure out why. It appears the setting you make on your NVR or through web interface no longer applies. It looks like it's working...

Gus - I was initially opposed to the idea of two ways communication, however, I find that it's useful to let the person at the door knows you're coming or not coming. It acknowledge to them that you are aware of their presence whether you're home or not.

This is when you reject it on the app. Before: When you press a button, the bell will go "ding dong" follows by beep beep beep beep then follows by "the subscriber you dialed is busy now, please try again later." Now: When you press a button, the bell will go "ding dong" follows by silence...

blinking blue means wifi or sd card error. I remembered when I initially set it up, I cannot get it to register my wifi. Fortunately, Laview have an alternate option where they generated a qr code for the door bell to read. That method works perfectly, the instructions with the booklet did...

Day/Night picture is clear enough to identify faces. That was my main criteria. While I had to adjust pictures which makes the color appears unnatural (my bushes have a slight purple lol), you can clear see faces and features. If you connect to the camera via web browser or NVR, you can...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Laview customer service is not bad actually. A little slow, but not bad. The lastest firmware detect lights correctly so that IR is NOT triggered when my porch light is on, you don't really need to turn it off anymore. I want to also add that you'll need a transformer with 20 volts. Mine was...

Yes - This firmware mute the busy signal I initially complained about. I requested for them to chime "ding dong" for each instance of button pressed. Currently, you only get the first chime, and all sub-sequence button pressed are silent.

Oh - I noticed with the last firmware, they muted the busy signal when you ring the bell. You get an initial "ding dong" then followed by complete silence. If you press the bell again, nothing happens. If the call was rejected, you'll get "the caller you're trying to reach is unavailable."

You cannot turn off the outdoor ring. Their app is complete crap, there are almost zero options. I hope they will improve on it soon. I had to make many of the changes through my NVR. I am very happy with the picture quality though, I can clearly see peoples faces, also, I am having sensor...

Howdy fellows, a gentleman from slickdeal asked me to share my experience with this particular doorbell. I found this doorbell to have a lot of potentials, but the current app is very lacking. I have the laview version, which I purchased for $99. Here's my take. Pros: 1. Excellent video...
