I've tried every combo of bitrate, framerate and encoding available on the cameras, it doesn't seem to matter. I can't find anything to modify on the NVR that would apply to the recorded streams.

Ok thanks, this video is crystal clear in the live view of it though, both in ivms-4200 and browsing with chrome. I guess the processor is just losing something in the writing to hard disk. I think this started happening after I added the last couple of cameras to that machine.

If you select 1080p on vimeo it looks just like the original

Hi everyone, I hope someone has run into this before. I've noticed that on playback of recordings of cameras in my Hikvision DS-9632NI-i8, the video is not as good as the original stream was, it appears to pixelate/pulsate every second on the keyframe. I can't see anywhere in the NVR settings...

I built out with hikvision so I'm mostly stuck with it, but I have recently been trying out a Watchnet 4 camera system, and I have to say their software seems much cleaner and their tech support got back to me right away by email when I had a question.

So it turns out it was not the NVR causing the issue at all. After much trial and error, I discovered that the only thing in the logs for the camera which correlated with the reset was motion detection. Disabling motion detection on the cameras stopped them resetting their bitrate to 64kbps...

They do have the option for a "viewer" account, I never even thought of that. I'll give that a try, thanks.

Hi, I've got a DS-9632NI-I8 on V4.22.000 build 190821and some of my ONVIF cameras, but not all, will have their main stream set to 64 kbps over night. I set them to 2500 kbps in both the NVR and on the camera, but it only lasts one day. I didn't notice this happening with previous firmware but...

On my onvif cameras these names keep reverting back to IPCameraXX, it's not because of reboots or double logins, I'm not sure what triggers it, I get maybe 8 hours before they switch back.

I get a new error now, "User does not exit...reconnecting". Same result, cameras dropping off at random intervals.

Anyone figure out how to rename a channel for an ONVIF camera? Under Image->OSD Settings where you'd put the display name it says "This camera does not support the function." It seems to pull the name from that to write the menu name. So all my ONVIF cameras are stuck with IPCamera 1, 2 etc...

The IP 192.168.126.202 is the NVR. Ubiquity disables RTSP on their cameras and then gives it to you as a service of the NVR. I can connect to all 5 of the cameras via RTSP through the ubiquity NVR with VLC concurrently on the internal LAN using each URL but I can't get more than one at a time...
